SVP Academy issues two types of certificates for ‘Cross Module Review’ and ‘Cross Level Finisher’ respectively digitally signed by the CEO of the Academy, Brinda Radhakrishnan and the examiner.
After the completion of each examination, the student will receive their certificate and grade card via email within one week of the completion. To qualify for a certificate, a student must secure a minimum of 3 marks in each category and achieve a 30% overall score. Students receiving 29% or less in any course must retake that examination.
If a student feels that their assigned grade does not truly represent their performance, they are encouraged to communicate their concerns via email to operations@thesvpacademy.com. The email should include essential details such as the student’s name, course, teacher, and a clear explanation of why they believe the grade is inaccurate. It is essential to note that any disputes regarding grades must be submitted within one week following the completion of the respective course.
The assessment of the ‘Cross Module Review’ and ‘Cross Level Finisher’ examinations is based on five distinct categories: ‘Theory,’ ‘Practical,’ ‘Preparation,’ ‘Commitment to Memorization,’ and ‘Overall Performance.’ Each category carries a weightage of 10 marks, summing up to a total of 50 marks for each examination. The grading process involves evaluating the performance in each category, and the overall grade is determined by calculating the percentage of the total marks achieved. The grading system is illustrated in the table provided below.
A revision class is available for purchase, lasting 45 minutes and priced equivalently to one Advanced class. This option is beneficial for students seeking a comprehensive review before undertaking a Cross Level Finisher. By participating in a revision class, students can revisit and reinforce their learning with their teacher, ensuring enhanced preparedness for the Cross Level Finisher assessment.
A cover-up class is a complimentary class provided out of turn.
If more than 30 days have passed since the last class attended, the student must re-enroll in the course again.
The student may rejoin the batch for the same course within a maximum of 30 days from the last class attended. Failure to rejoin within this timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the batch.
If a student is absent for more than 2 classes without providing any email notification to the Academy, the batch will be paused.
